The CWOCN nurse rallied staff to assist in bed selection for replacement of the facilities bed surfaces. Staff noted the variety of options available, reviewed current need and predicted future requirements. Prevalence data and bed rentals were tracked. The replacement surfaces maintained below national benchmark numbers for pressure ulcers and reduced bed rentals.
