Biographical Sketch: Ms. Rolstad is a faculty member and the Program Administrator for the webWOC Nursing Education Program, from the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Metropolitan State University in Mpls., MN. This Program has been accredited by the WOCN for 7 years and is offered ONLINE educating nurses to become wound, ostomy, continence nurses. She graduated from the Cleveland Clinic Enterostomal Therapy Education Program in 1972 and is Board Certified as a CWOCN by the Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurses Society. She received her B.A. degree from Metropolitan University in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota in 1987 with majors in nursing and small business management. She received her M.S. in Education with a specialty in Online Distance Education in 2006 and her Certification in Instructional Design in 2004 from Capella University, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Bonnie is an active member of the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care (AAWC) and the Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurses Society (WOCN). She is currently on the Editorial Advisory Board for Ostomy/Wound Management and has lectured and written extensively. Her most recent publication is Principles of Wound Management: in the 3rd edition of Acute and Chronic Wounds: Nursing Management (2007).
