Bleeding is the urgent indication of malignant fungating wounds, which can be an emotional and physical challenge for patients, families and even for the experienced clinician. The purpose of this study is to investigate the comparative efficacy of Silver nitrate and Bosmin in the management of bleeding control of malignant fungating wounds. The research design was clinical trail with purposive sampling, and subjects were recruited from an oncology ward of a medical center in South Taiwan. To investigate the time of using Bosmin and Silver nitrate on bleeding control of malignant fungating wounds, surrounding tissue, satisfaction of patients and cost. The data stated that the significant differences between two of those trails, Silver nitrate was showed higher satisfaction of patients and cost than Bosmin. The results of this study not only provided the guidance and also the evendice based to interventions and promote the quality of clinical care of patients with malignant fungating wounds.
