TITLE: Sangre de grado (Blood of grado) as a cutaneous protector for the periostomal skin

SUMMARY: Is a tree that grows in the Amazonian forest in Peru. The bark of this tree produces a dark red latex or resin that is applied to the periostomal skin (healthy, complete skin) producing a kind of  second layer of skin, that is to say, like a cutaneous protector. When it is applied on a lacerated skin, irritated by the components of the effluvium, acts like a cellular regenerator, as an anti – inflammatory product, in a way that the patient stops feeling pain, being observed in this way a rapid healing.
REFERENCES: There is an investigation made by a group of  American  Pharmacologists (1974) that isolated an alkaloid denominated TASPINA  in a dose of 20mg / Kg that was effective in reducing inflammations in laboratory rats, The investigators concluded that the TAPSINA could be an effective drug for the treatment of wounds, skin  inflammations and gastric – duodenal ulcers
DISCOVERY: The Sangre de Grado is a resource from the Peruvian forest that have a resin naturally fresh and with anti- inflammatory properties, that acts as a healing and astringent drug, that allows to deal with effectiveness with different types of injuries in the skin and mucous.
CONFIRMATION: By means of our clinical practice with the ostomized patients and with testimonies of the same patients.
