Biographical Sketch: Dea Kent recieved her Masters in Nursing from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. She currently practices wound ostomy and continence care in Noblesville, Indiana at Riverview Hospital. Dea has published a variety of articles in journals on wound ostomy and continence issues. Her passion is to make wound ostomy and continence care relevant and easy to navigate for nurse generalists at the bedside. She recently finished a research study, publication under review. She is active regionally in WOCN, holding the office of President for the MidEast Region. She also serves as the committee chairperson for the Membership Committee for WOCN.
