Biographical Sketch: Beverly Folkedahl has worked at an academic medical center since 1977 and has been a certified Wound/ Ostomy Nurse since 1983. She has been involved with WOCN on a wide variety of projects, was Secretary for WOCN from 2004-2008 and is currently a member of the Ostomy Guidelines Development Task Force. She received the Nursing Excellence in Clinical Education award given jointly by the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinic and the University of Iowa College of Nursing in 2003 and was named as one of Iowa's 100 Great Nurses in 2005.
