1742 The Health Care Ostomy Patient in the Minas Gerais State, Brazil

This study aimed to describe the health care of people with stoma in the state of Minas Gerais second to Attention Policies ostomized people from the Ministry of Health. The methodology used was a quantitative descriptive. Was used as the secondary data source generated from the records of registration and production procedures assigned by the Coordination of Health Care of the ostomy linked to the Health Coordinator of Disabled People of the State Secretariat of Health of Minas Gerais. Data were collected regarding the number of people ostomized in the state, number of specialized services, costs and service coverage between 2000 and 2010. The results showed that there were 27 public service offered for Health Care Services ostomized people of the state. 4762 people were enrolled in the program ostomized by the year 2010, being observed a linear increase yearly. In 2010 it was reported a prevalence of 2.4 / 10,000 ostomy. Health services are decentralized and managed by Managers / Superintendents Regional Health macroregion each state having underserved regions or referred to others. It is noticed that the state has implemented gradually Care Network ostomized people as proposed by the Master Plan of the State Department of Health in accordance with the Program for Health Care of the Ministry of Health ostomy.
