1769 Investigation of the Level and Influential Factors of Professional Self-identity of Enterostomal Therapist(ET)

Objective  To explore the level and influential factors of professional self-identity of Enterostomal Therapist(ET).  

Method  40 ET were investigated their Nurses Professional Self-identity and using Nurses Professional Self-identity Scale Chinese Version. All the data were analyzed by Software SPSS17.0.

Results  The sense of mastering the profession dimension had the highest score while the influences to ET’s department had the lowest. The level of ET’s professional self-identity were influenced by age, professional ranks, work seniority, belonging department, educational background and operating time in ET practice(p<0.05).

 Conclusions  ET had higher level of professional self-identity. There’re many ways to further improve ET’s professional self-identity.
