Biographical Sketch:

Diane Bryant MS, RN, CWOCN Clinical Nurse Specialist, has practiced WOC nursing for over twenty years at the Brigham and Woman’s Hospital in Boston, Ma. The Brigham is a 750 bed acute care, urban teaching hospital. Her practice setting is challenging and rewarding because of the number of complex and critically ill patients that require the knowledge and skill set of the WOC nurse   She has been an active member of WOCN, serving at the regional and national levels, she a past President of the New England Region and has  served on the National Conference Planning Committee. She has published in JWOCN, Ostomy and Wound Management, co authored a book chapter and co authored the first WOCN Guidelines for Pressures Ulcers. She is member of the Board of Directors for the  Ostomy Association of Boston. She is honored to have been invited to speak at the WOCN National Conference.
