Biographical Sketch:
I'm an Asscoaite Clinical Professor of anesthesiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and I have been a faculty member in the Dept of Anesthesiology since 1994.

I'm the Interim Division Director and Clinical Director Of Neuroanesthesia and my interests include patient safety, anesthesia for functional neurosurgery, brain tumors and spine surgery. 

I received my medical degree (M.B.B.S) from Gauhati University, Assam, India after which I did my anesthesia residency training in the UK and USA. I completed my fellowship in Neuro/Spine anesthesia at the Univ of Louisville, KY and an additional fellowship in Pain Management at VUMC, Nashville. I enjoy teaching residents and medical students and allied health professionals.
